Prevention & healthy living

TSET IMPACT Network

Working to reduce tobacco use, increase access to healthy foods, and expand opportunities for physical activity in Cherokee County.

About the program

The TSET IMPACT Network is funded by the Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust (TSET) and builds on CCHSC's earlier work through the TSET Healthy Living Program. It continues our commitment to reducing tobacco use, increasing access to healthy foods, and expanding opportunities for physical activity in Cherokee County.

Why it matters

Tobacco use and obesity are leading causes of cancer and cardiovascular disease. The program works to prevent these diseases by reducing risk factors before unhealthy habits take hold. Investing in prevention saves lives and lowers long-term health care costs for our communities.

What we focus on

  • Tobacco-free living: reducing tobacco use and connecting people with help to quit.
  • Healthy food: making healthy foods easier to find and afford.
  • Active living: creating more opportunities for physical activity.
