Cherokee County Health Services Council (CCHSC) provides this website to share information about health programs, services, and events in Cherokee County, Oklahoma, and nearby communities. These terms explain what you can expect from the website and how it may be used. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.

Not for emergencies

This website and our contact form are not monitored around the clock and cannot be used to get emergency help. In an emergency, call 911. For a mental health or substance use crisis, call or text 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. It is free, confidential, and available 24/7.

The information on this website is general information. It is not medical, legal, or other professional advice, and it does not replace care from a qualified provider. Talk with a doctor or other qualified professional about your own situation. Contacting us through this website does not start medical care.

Our resource directory

We list local services to help you find what you need. Except for CCHSC's own programs, such as Recovery 918, CCHSC does not run or endorse the organizations listed. Hours, phone numbers, eligibility, and services change, so please call ahead to confirm. If something is wrong or missing, tell us.

Our pages link to websites run by others, including service providers, government agencies, and social media. We don't control those websites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, security, or privacy practices. A link does not mean we endorse the website, the organization that runs it, or anything it offers.

Online gifts are processed for us by Stripe on its own payment page; our Privacy Policy explains how donor information is handled.

Please use the website fairly

Please don't:

  • try to disrupt the website, get around its security, or overload it, for example with automated form submissions;

Sharing our content

You are welcome to print, link to, and share pages from this website for personal, educational, or community use that is not commercial, as long as you don't change their meaning and you credit CCHSC. Photos, logos, and materials from other organizations belong to their owners and may not be reused without their permission.
