International Overdose Awareness Day is held every year on August 31. It is a day to remember people who have died from overdose and to share the message that overdose is preventable.
The Color Run is CCHSC's community event for the day. It is not a race: walkers, runners, and families can choose a timed 5K or an untimed fun run. The 2026 run was planned as the third, after runs in 2023 and 2024.
