TSET IMPACT Network
Serving Cherokee County
The TSET IMPACT Network, funded by the Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust, is a program that has evolved from previous efforts with the TSET Healthy Living Program. This new program will continue the commitment to reducing tobacco use, increasing access to healthy foods, and expanding opportunities for physical activity as part of a broader effort to address the root causes of obesity and tobacco-related illness in Cherokee County. With obesity and tobacco use responsible for nearly half of all cancer cases—and with Oklahoma ranking among the highest in the nation for both—this work is more urgent than ever. The program focuses on preventing cancer and cardiovascular disease by reducing these risk factors before unhealthy behaviors take hold. Investing in prevention not only saves lives but also reduces long-term healthcare costs for our communities.
